What is a League Cup?

A League Cup is a quarterly tournament. The next step up from a monthly League Challenge.

REGISTRATION:

• Early Sign Ups: 
  • Open now until the end of the Registration Period.

• In-store Registration:
  • Opens at 11:00am and will Close at 11:45am.
  • Players must have their deck list submitted and be checked in by 11:45am
• Entry:  $25.00
  • 100% of the entry goes towards prizes and/or store credit.
• Deck Lists:
  • • Digital Deck List Submissions will be encouraged, but not required.
    • There will be blank deck lists available on site.

FORMAT:

• Standard Format
  • 60-card, Constructed.
• Temporal Forces through 30th Celebration
  • Regulation marks “H” thru “J”
• Matches
  • Swiss (Everyone plays 3-5 rounds of matches)
  • 30 minutes, Best of One.
  • Number of rounds depends on the total number of players in each age division.
• Top Cut
  • Single Elimination (Play0ff Bracket)
  • Matches will be 75 minutes, Best of Three.
  • Typically only a Top 4 playoff.
  • (9 to 20 players (per age division) = Top 4 playoff, 21+ players = Top 8 playoff, etc.)
• Estimated Event Runtime
  • Ultimately depends on the total number of players, per age division.
  • Swiss Round portion: Typically 3-4 hours
  • Top Cut portion: Top 4 = 3 hours, Top 8 = 5 hours
  • Start to Finish Total: 3 to 9 hours

PRIZES:

• Each player will receive at least 1 Prize Series pack & 2 Booster packs for participating.
• First Place in each age division will receive a Champion Playmat.
• Top Players in each age division will receive
  • Championship Points based on their placement
  • Additional Prizes are based on the total number of participants and their final placement.
